Episode 120: Moral Relativism
What is Moral Relativism? What is wrong with it? How do I counteract it? In this Episode, Beth and Kristofer discuss Moral Relativism and what we can do to fight it and overcome it, despite the Devil’s attempts to stop them from sharing the secrets! (You’ll have to listen to the first part at least to hear the story!)
Beth and Kristofer start out (after giving the lowdown on Satan’s involvement) by explaining what the dangers of Moral Relativism are and the immediate flaws with the philosophy. They discuss why it eventually breaks down and why we must rely on a higher authority to tell us what is right and what is wrong.
Even Sola Scriptura has some level of Moral Relativism in it. Beth and Kristofer go into detail on why self-interpretation of the Bible is dangerous. It is important to have the Church to go to in order to understand the teachings in the Bible.
We have to defend ourselves and our families from the onslaught that is the Dictatorship of Relativism. Which will in turn help us get closer to God.
