On The Road To Perfection
Episode 14: Taking Young Kids To Mass

After shaking off his spurs, Kristofer and Beth walk 1.3 miles and talk about taking your young children to Mass. It starts as a general conversation but quickly turns to young children, typically before they receive First Communion. What we did, what we did not do, and how each of our children received their first spanking at Mass, and learned to participate (and apologize to the priest when they misbehaved or acted out). We share with you the NUMBER ONE way to get your children to pay attention and participate before they even know how to walk. We talk about when to take your kids out of Mass and what the priest is really thinking. And we tweak those who have a problem with kids at Mass. Lots of good stuff here, and we haven’t even talked about tweens and teens. We’ll get to that soon enough, but in the meantime listen and share. And take your kids to Mass!

MT 18:5-7 – “And whoever receives one child such as this in my name receives me. Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a great millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”

Taking young kids to mass seems to be a hard task. You can listen to our Mass podcast parts one and two, for more on how to enjoy the Holy Mass.
